holidays

hey guys, wassup?? this blog is only pics, so i decided to be a little different and post pictures and also tell u about my holidays so far....
well, for the first week (5 days- to be exact), me and mushki and a few other girls (5 others from my class- there are pictures of them on another post) went to winter camp....it was sooo much fun, we had a blast...the first day we came, everyone from years 10, 11 and 12 wnet bike riding, but there was a slight issue because we were going to be riding on steep hills, and some of the paths were very narrow and we could fall off, and i have never ridden a bike before, so me being the only nebach unable to ride a bike, had to go 'white water rafting' a.k.a ciaking, with the younger grades, years 8 and 9...it was a little embarrasing, everyone was like y are u here with us and i had to explain to 20 ppl that i didnt know how to and noone could beleive it....anyway, we had an amazin time, even though it was frezzing and the guy made us walk through knee deep water, and we were sopping wet...it was worth it....
that night we came back to camp and the food that we usually get is ledgendary stuff (as in it smeant to be YUMM) but for sum reason this year the cooks were horrible, so we all decided that we were on fat camp... so it was good n we would starve, so it was hasgacha pratit... =)
the next day we went to a wildlife zoo and saw all the different animals, it was an open park, so we literally walked side by side with some of the animals, it was really cool, we saw lions being fed, and camels, and kangaroos, and aligators, and deer....and stax more...we took some really cool pics, and afterwards our driver, since he had a jeep, took us jeeping through a dried up lake (which in itself is kinda sad, cos it used to be soo full, and now we drove through it, n it was empty) n while everyone was on a stuffy bus we were crusing through the country with music blarring, eating stax of food and having a blast....
that night was gimmel tamuz, and we had an amazing farbi and we had a balloon launch, it was stunning, we all had to fill in papers about what the Rebbe meant to us and any hachlatas we want to make and what we wonna mean to the Rebbe, and then we rolled up the paper and placed it, together with a glow in the dark stick that lights up at night into a clear balloon, we added helium to it and then we had a balloon let off, everyone let them off together...it was stunning...when i can, or when i get ill post the pics.
the next day we went skiing, to mt buller, we had to get up at 5:30, in order to daven, eat and have shiurim in time for the snow...we had a blast, although it was really cold, it was alot of fun...me, mushki and another friend of ours, rikkel were the last ones to get our skiis, so we were privilaged enough to have private skii lessons from one of the ladies, and she taught us how to stop, so we wouldnt kill ourselves (shame i never mastered that skill) after the lessons the 3 of us went down a mountain, and becuse i was on the verge of smashing ino someone, and because i hadnt mastered the stopping skill, i had to fall over to stop myself, it was pretty funny, i looked ridiculous lying there in the snow...lol...anyways me and rikkel gave up like an hour and a half later, after we'd been skiing for like 3 hours already and headed back to teh place to return our skiis and eat....we were starving, mushki continued by herself, where she actually learnt to master stopping and turning, and she went down one of the bigger mountains...like an hour later, she came back to join us, and we all went on the chairlifts to the very top of the mountain...it was soooo cold, and stupid us though it wouldnt be so cold, so we took off our scalves and gloves...lol....we regretted that soon after...later on everyone joined together again, and we made our way back to the shuttle bus and back to the cars, (for us it was the jeep) it was soo cute, before we left we all stoped to daven mincha, and all the ppl around us were like wat the??? we then drove back to campsite, and on the way did some more jeeping...
the next day was friday, so in the morning, we just had shiurim, (btw the learning was really good) and then after lunch we went on a hike through a nearby forest....it was a pretty steep hill, and we had to cross over a lake i the middle, the rocks were all wet and slippery, but the camp had brough a rope, which they fastened against a tree on either side, so we held onto that as we crossed, we then realised that we had crossed too early and we were kind lost, baruch hashem, all was good n we found our way, and arribed back at camp 2 hours before shabbos...everyone was stresssing, we all had to have showers, plus do our shabbos job....again, baruch hashem everything worked out, jobs got done, showers were had, hair was straightened (or curled) makeup was applied, and shabbos photos were taken...
shabbos came along....and it was stunning, minus the food (and the challah- they didnt have glicks) but it was really nice regardless, we were all singing and dancing, and stuff...u know how camp shabbosim are...anyway yeh, after shabbos, we had a goodbye banquet and we were all divided up into groups n had to make up a song about camp....we made up some really cute ones, then after dinner we had to pack up and clean up the camp site for the boys (they were cuming after us) and we only eneded up getting like 2 hours of sleep, which was fine because the buses left the next day at 8, and we had to get up at like 6, so we slept on the buses, so yeh that was camp...much more happened but i have no patience to write about it....
after camp, the next night we had a camp reunion, to say goodbye to the viglers, and also another madricha, who was leaving and we then went and surprised one of our good friends who we hadent seen since before camp, it was really funny, imagine 8 ppl showing up at ur door when u were expecting none of them....we then went on a drive and to the st kilda towers, they are really cool, they are elevators from which u can c the entire city...its stunning, and we then (were very hyper) and took stax of shiduch pics...just for fun....it was really fun...lol
life here in melbourne is pretty boring, theres nuthin much to do, and evertime we decide to do something, its either too late or booked out or we cant be bothered so, we havent realy been doing much these holidays, just chilling at each others houses and watching videos n stufff, but its fun, and were with friends, so it doesnt matter...
u wonna hear somethin crazy??? today, we had to go to school and write an essay at 9 oçlock in the morning, in the middle of the holidays, and then we had school until one o'clock....how crazy is that??? as if we dnt have enough work as it is!!!
plus yesterday we were unable to do anything because we had to go to an english lecture....anyway that is my life...nuthing too interesting, we start school again this tuesday, and then we only have ten weeks until exams and we graduate on the 16th of november, plus i have my birthday on the 18th of august / 5th of elul, so ill be able to drive....so excited =) wooohooo...so wat u all been up to??? hows life by u?? left me know...misssin u all staxx...mwa mwa mwa
